Cuts For Community

Discover a world where passion and community unite to foster positive impact.

Eight years ago, Cuts for Community was founded from Brandy's vision to share her talents in empowering and uplifting our community.

During our remarkable journey, Crave Studio has collaborated closely with esteemed organizations such as:
-PeopleWorx in Kentville
-Valley Community Learning Association
-OpenArms
-The Youth Portal
-Chrysalis House.

We are excited to expand our support to more organizations that share our mission. Each month, we proudly offer 30 free haircuts to clients from partner organizations. However, our goal is to extend our reach and touch even more lives.Could your organization benefit from this opportunity?

Do you have inspiring collaboration ideas? We invite you to connect with us to explore the possibilities of a meaningful partnership. We are committed to broadening our impact and making a difference in our community.

Crave Studio has always been a sanctuary, celebrating diversity and acceptance. We provide a nurturing environment for self-expression. Our studio embraces everyone, offering a safe space that encourages personal growth.

Join us on our journey of impact, one haircut at a time.

Together, let's create a community where everyone feels beautiful, confident, and empowered.

We look forward to connecting with you to explore how we can collaborate and bring about positive change.

With warm regards and an open heart,

"Brandy Hudson who is a master hairstylist (and an awesome one at that) and owner of Crave Studio in Kentville

has been offering free haircuts on a monthly basis to the participants of Annapolis Valley Work Centre for the past few years.  She has recently opened a new studio at 100 Webster Street and has also recently expanded her free haircuts to other community organizations. The haircuts that our clients have received have been life changing. This might sound far-fetched to you as a reader of this testimony, but I can assure you, it is true…. Our clients are treated like someone who not only would pay top dollar for a haircut but would also offer a nice tip. The chatter is no different and they are treated with respect.  When they leave Crave Studio they walk with a new confidence. Upon return to Annapolis Valley Work Centre they are flooded with compliments. As a result, their self-esteem levels raise tremendously and people start acting and treating them differently because of this increased confidence. I am very proud of the partnership we have established and look forward to resuming it again when services resume.”
