CUTS FOR COMMUNITY
Welcome to a world where passion and community
come together to create positive impact.
Eight years ago, Cuts for Community was born from Brandy's vision to share her talents in a way that would empower and uplift her community.
Throughout this incredible journey, Crave Studio has had
the privilege of working closely with organizations like PeopleWorx in Kentville and, more recently, Valley Community Learning Association. We have also worked with OpenArms,
The Youth Portal, and the Chrysalis House.
We are thrilled to announce that we now have the opportunity to extend our support to other organizations that align with our mission. Once a month, we offer free haircuts to clients from these organizations, with the capacity to provide 30 free haircuts per month. However, our goal is to expand this reach and touch even more lives.
Do you believe that your organization could benefit from this
incredible opportunity?
Are you bursting with collaboration ideas that you think we would love? We invite you to reach out to us and explore the possibilities of an amazing partnership. We are always seeking ways to broaden our impact and make a difference in the lives of those around us.
Crave Studio has always been a safe haven, a beacon of acceptance and celebration for individuals from all walks of life. We provide a nurturing environment for self-expression, a rarity in today's world. Our studio is a place where anyone can come and be embraced for who they are. We take pride in creating a safe space that fosters comfort and encourages personal growth.
Join us in this incredible journey of making a difference,
one haircut at a time.
Together, we can create a community where everyone feels beautiful, confident, and empowered. We eagerly await the opportunity to connect with you and explore how we can collaborate to bring about positive change.
With warm regards and an open heart,
Crave Studio
"Brandy Hudson who is a master hairstylist (and an awesome one at that) and owner of Crave Studio in Kentville
has been offering free haircuts on a monthly basis to the participants of Annapolis Valley Work Centre for the past few years. She has recently opened a new studio at 100 Webster Street and has also recently expanded her free haircuts to other community organizations. The haircuts that our clients have received have been life changing. This might sound far-fetched to you as a reader of this testimony, but I can assure you, it is true…. Our clients are treated like someone who not only would pay top dollar for a haircut but would also offer a nice tip. The chatter is no different and they are treated with respect. When they leave Crave Studio they walk with a new confidence. Upon return to Annapolis Valley Work Centre they are flooded with compliments. As a result, their self-esteem levels raise tremendously and people start acting and treating them differently because of this increased confidence. I am very proud of the partnership we have established and look forward to resuming it again when services resume.”
